  I wish places that claimed to be "handicap accessible" actually were. I use a wheelchair and tried to go into this store. There was a sticker on the front of the store that indicated it was handicap accessible, which I thought was great. But it was a lie. The aisles are so tightly packed I couldn't fit through them with my wheelchair. I couldn't go further than 4 feet into the store before I became so frustrated I left. On top of my frustration over the lie of accessibiliy and the combination of humiliation and embarrassment I felt after becoming such a spectacle, I was really sad. Before I was wheelchair bound, I really enjoyed going to hot topic. I loved a lot of their t shirts. But this was just another reminder that people don't give a damn for the disabled, making no effort to actual deliver on the promise of accessibility. If you're going to advertise accessibility for disabled people, please /actually/ have handicap accessiblity.
