  We looked at shelters from various vendors but since it is something we only need one to three days per year did not want to dig under our foundation nor did we want it to take up our entire garage. We have a three car garage and had our New Day shelter placed in the corner of the third or storage bay. They did a fantastic job or putting is right where we wanted it, we can still pull a smaller car into that bay if need be. (The third slot of mostly storage but a medium to small car will still fit). We love it, it is not unsightly and we were very impressed with the tests that New Day subjected their units to when they got their ratings. It is neat and clean; does not gather the dampness like many of our friends with concrete box style shelters. It is a great comfort to know it is there if we need it and we keep a Go kit inside it with flashlights (although it has its own light), dog leashes and bottled water. When we move we can either take it with us or you can have the bolts cut...it leaves a smooth place and with a dot or two of mixed concrete you can't even see where the bolts were. We feel the house would sell for far more when we advertised it contained a tornado shelter so would probably put it in the listing and have New Day deliver one to our new location. We love this and highly recommend New Day to anyone who is in the market for a tornado shelter.
